Soulja Boy arrested, charged with drug possession
Rapper Soulja Boy was arrested last week for drug and weapons possession. Soulja boy was pulled over by law enforcement because the car he was riding in had a broken tail light. Once the officers pulled over the vehicle, they said that they smelled marijuana, and they searched the rented vehicle.
The officers allegedly found marijuana and guns in the car. Some reports said that police also found thousands of dollars of cash, but those reports have been denied by a spokesperson for the police department.
Soulja Boy, the driver of the vehicle and three others in the car were all arrested on drug possession and weapons charges. Soulja Boy later posted $10,000 bond and was released from jail.
